Join MSF at our Heart of Dinner event to support the Asian American elderly community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Heart of Dinner is an organization that helps deliver food services for AAPI seniors living in NYC. These elderly communities are increasingly facing food insecurity during this difficult time. This organization needs handwritten notes in Chinese and English to attach to their care packages (Korean and Japanese are also welcomed). No experience is required, and we will have members fluent in Chinese to help with the writing. We encourage everyone interested to join us in writing heartwarming notes for our seniors who are currently in isolation, especially with recent events. We will also introduce some non-profit AAPI organizations to volunteer for and stay connected with the AAPI communities during the note writing session. This will be helpful for pre-health students who are looking for community service opportunities. |
