CMMB x Hunter is proud to present Dr. Tom Catena at Hunter College to share his story with us and answer any questions you may have for him. Please join us as we have a conversation with one of the world’s most important doctor. Dr. Tom Catena is the medical director and only doctor at Mother of Mercy Hospital, serving nearly a million patients in the region. He is on call 24/7 and helps these individuals who experience frequent bombing attacks, malnourishment, disease, and serious injuries from conflict and tension in the area. He is one CMMB’s longest-serving volunteer, constantly working to provide direct aid to this population. Dr. Catena was listed as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in 2015 and he was the winner of the prestigious Aurora Prize for Awakening Humanity in 2016. |
