PPAP 1000- Building Resilience 101 for Pre-Health Students: Skills for Personal and Academic Success

Description:	Do you find it difficult to cope with change? Is it challenging to “bounce back” from a difficult situation? If so, join us for a skills-based workshop designed to help foster the sense of resilience needed to achieve your academic, personal, and professional goals. Learn how to cultivate a more positive and adaptive perspective, reduce stress, develop self-compassion, and mobilize your strengths to effectively deal with life’s many challenges. Core Pre-Professional Competencies addressed in the PPAP seminar: Resilience and Adaptability: Demonstrates tolerance of stressful or changing environments or situations and adapts effectively to them; is persistent, even under difficult situations; recovers from setbacks. Capacity for Improvement: Sets goals for continuous improvement and for learning new concepts and skills; engages in reflective practice for improvement; solicits and responds appropriately to feedback.
