New York-Presbyterian Queens is a Level 1 Trauma Center verified by the American College of Surgeons. The trauma program works in collaboration with the Emergency Department in caring for injured patients. We collect over 200 data points on each injured patient and use this information to generate research ideas that are aimed to improve patient outcomes and care. New York-Presbyterian Queens Trauma & Critical Care Surgery Program is looking for research volunteers to assist us in data collection, data analysis, and literature searches. We are seeking highly motivated students who are interested in pursuing a career in health care and/or research and who are dedicated to making significant contributions towards improving medicine and patient care." |
