In this seminar, we will discuss the business aspect of healthcare and the various career options. You will hear from a panelist of healthcare leaders which include: • Rosanna Fahey - Associate Vice President, Cancer Care Without Walls at The Mayo Clinic • Lorna Friedman- Senior Partner: Health Transformation and Sustainability at Mercer Consulting • Joseph Habboushe - Emergency Medicine Physician at Weill Cornell Medicine and Entrepreneur • Michael Lefferts - Managing Director, Healthcare Investment Banking at Lazard • Gene Trogan - Value and Access Marketing Lead- Oncology at Boehringer Ingelheim These seasoned professionals are all working in positions at the crossroads of business and healthcare - including roles in finance, operations, marketing, consulting and entrepreneurship. Students of all majors are encouraged to come and learn about the range of roles that exist in the healthcare industry, one of the fastest growing sectors in the country. There will be time for audience Q&A and informal networking at the end. Pizza will be served. This PPAP 1000 series seminar is required for freshman Pre-Health students to open a pre-health file. |
