Join us to learn about the ResTep Program at MSKCC from Vicky Baudin, the Senior Project Manager for Human Oncology Pathogenesis Program (HOPP) and Research Technician Pipeline Program (ResTep). The Research Technician Pipeline program provides undergraduate students of diverse backgrounds with introductory laboratory skills training and laboratory administration lectures. Students will complete laboratory specific certifications relevant to the field of the research technician. Emphasis is placed on introduction to cancer research, laboratory administration, and skills training. Students will also have didactic and hands-on training for basic laboratory skills, supplementing their undergraduate science education. Program Overview: •Intense formal 6-month paid internship for graduating seniors (BA/BS) during the Spring semester senior year •Time commitment: 10 hours per week Join to learn more about the application process and ask any questions. Upon completion of their 6 months internship, students will be given the opportunity to apply for technician roles within HOPP and other MSK laboratories. |
