In this seminar, students will learn about ethical issues that arise while caring for patients. Speaker: Dr. Matthew McCarthy, MD "Matthew McCarthy is a hospitalist who cares for hospitalized patients only and does not have out-patient practices. Matthew McCarthy’s academic interests include fungal infections, CNS infections, and transplant-associated infections." Dr. McCarthy is an associate professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and a staff physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where he serves on the Ethics Committee. This is a required PPAP 1000 & 1003 seminar. |
