Heather Tomchik is a physician assistant who currently practices in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Westmed Medical Group in Purchase, NY. Heather completed her undergraduate degree at Western Connecticut State University where she majored in Pre-Medicine/Biology and minored in Biopsychology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Biology. She then pursued her Masters of Medical Science at Yale University in the Physician Assistant Program. She graduated with highest honors in 2005 receiving top awards for her thesis and performance during didactic rotations. Professionally Heather is a former board member of the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants and a former clinical preceptor and admissions interviewer for the Yale Physician Associate Program. In her spare time, she likes to be active with exercise and has completed several marathons.
