Monday June 3rd, 2023 - APP 101 – Introduction to the Education of the Advanced Practice Provider Tuesday June 4th, 2023 - Pathways to the APP Profession: Past, Present, and Future (history of how the profession came about, different ways in which you can practice as an APP) Wednesday June 5th, 2023: Bringing it all Together: The Interdisciplinary Approach (Case study with various healthcare providers) Thursday June 6th, 2023: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists: Everything you ever wanted to know – but were afraid to ask! Friday June 7th, 2024: Medical VS. Surgical PA You will receive a certificate of completion if you attend all sessions. This experience can be included in your health professions graduate school application. Students who participate in this virtual symposium will have the opportunity to apply for the in-person AP3 Winter 2025 shadowing program. |
