The Pre-Health Organization presents Immigration Workshop with Dr. Aragones from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Join us in an engaging conversation with Dr. Aragones whose areas of expertise include working with primary care provider to address barriers for cancer screening and prevention among minority and immigrant populations, specifically among the Latino population. Dr. Aragones is currently working in the areas of HPV vaccine practices among providers serving large minority populations; developing an intervention to promote the utilization of the HPV vaccine among children of Latino immigrants; and investigating a new model to disseminate and implement evidence-based practices to community physicians serving large Latino populations. Refreshments will be served. |
