| Description: | The American Red Cross at Hunter College will host an info-session for Pre-Health students. The event will provide information on opportunities for community outreach. You will receive Red Cross volunteer hours for attending this meeting, Information to register with us will be included below. It is recommended to complete registration as soon as possible to begin accumulating hours. The registration includes an online orientation where you will learn about the Red Cross mission and some information on some of volunteers opportunities. We will have plenty of these opportunities available for you to RSVP to for the weeks following the meeting. These opportunities include; Volunteer work in Disaster Services, Home Fire Preparedness training, Psychological First Aid, Soup Kitchens, Blood Drives, Mass Care and Sheltering. We will explain how each of these events helps in the betterment of those in our communities. We're looking forward to meeting you! |
