Join us in exploring Physical Therapy with Dr. Cristiana K Collins, Certified Functional Manual Therapist, Board Certified Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy, Associate Professor and Chair of Hunter College's DPT program. As essential participants in the health care delivery system, physical therapists assume leadership roles in rehabilitation, prevention, health maintenance, and programs that promote health, wellness, and fitness. Physical therapists also play important roles both in developing standards for physical therapy practice and in developing health care policy to ensure availability, accessibility, and optimal delivery of health care services. This workshop is part of the Exploring Health Careers seminar module which is required for incoming Fall 2020 Pre-Health students. |
