| Description: | Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. We are creating a new and exciting student chapter of Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) at Hunter College. As a new student-run chapter, we aspire to spread knowledge and raise awareness regarding MSF’s work in the field and about humanitarian issues. We expect to involve our fellow students in non-governmental organizations such as MSF through advocacy campaigns. If you are passionate about medicine, humanitarian issues, or providing care to under-served communities, please join our team! |
