AMSA Weill Cornell Medicine Panel Discussion Registration

Description: Join AMSA for a discussion with Medical Doctors from the fields of Internal Medicine and Anesthesia, and Medical Students who are currently attending Weill Cornell Medical College. Please come with prepared questions if you like.

Dr. Annie Kim
Dr. Kim is a hospitalist and holds Clinical & Academic Positions as an Assistant Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and as an
Assistant Professor of Medicine - Weill Cornell Medical College, Cornell University
She received her education & Training from Washington University School of Medicine and Duke University.
Dr. Joe Bryant-Huppert
A latecomer to medicine after joining the United States Air Force after high school, then attending the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis for both his BA in Physiology (2013) and his MD (2017). Moved to New York for his residency in anesthesiology, currently in his second of four years. Anticipates living and working in Manhattan in academic medicine following an additional year of fellowship in either Obstetric Anesthesiology or Chronic Pain.

Roger Ying - M.D. Candidate at WCMC
→Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering (B.S.) at the University of Washington.
→Research Assistant at UNAIDS (Geneva, Switzerland) (2014-2015)
→His work on health economic models of HIV treatment eventually brought him to the United Nations where he worked on global HIV policy.
