SCORE is an eight-week full-time program designed to encourage undergraduates to consider careers in cancer research. Each student is paired with a research mentor who is a member of the MSK faculty to do a clinical or laboratory research project. The program includes career development activities such as training in scientific presentations. At the end of the program, each student writes a 1-page abstract and gives a 10-minute Powerpoint presentation at a research symposium at MSK. Program Dates: Monday, June 1-Friday July 24, 2020; full-time. - SCORE is open to Hunter freshman, sophomore, junior and post-baccalaureate students. Seniors graduating in June 2020 are not eligible to apply. All eligible post-baccalaureate students MUST be currently enrolled in courses/learning credits towards the Hunter College Pre-Health Certificate. Freshmen and students from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. |
